Dakota Dunes Community Development Corporation (DDCDC) has donated $275,000 to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation (JPCHF) to support maternal health care for First Nations and non-First Nations families in Saskatchewan. The funding will enable the purchase of state-of-the-art maternal critical care equipment and culturally appropriate supplies such as smudging materials, moss bags, and belly button pouches.
This partnership ensures an environment of dignity and cultural respect for expectant mothers and newborns, reflecting DDCDC’s commitment to inclusivity and excellence in healthcare.
